You must be 18 or older to use Between Us. By taking part you confirm that you are.

3. The service

Between Us is an online compatibility assessment for couples. Each partner answers the same questions independently. We compare the answers and show a shared compatibility result. A fuller report can be unlocked for a one-time payment.

The assessment is informational and intended to help you explore similarities, differences and areas for discussion. Compatibility scores are generated from your submitted responses and our own scoring methodology. They are not scientifically validated.

Results do not guarantee or predict the success or failure of a relationship. The service is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal or other professional advice. You should not make significant personal or relationship decisions solely because of an automated score.

4. Your responsibilities

Each partner must complete their own half independently and voluntarily. Do not answer on someone else's behalf, pressure anyone to take part, or try to view another person's answers. Keep your private links safe — anyone with your link on your device can view your profile.

Once you confirm your answers they are locked and cannot be changed. To change them, start a new assessment.

5. Payments

The full report costs £4.99 as a one-time payment per matched assessment (one couple), including any applicable VAT. There is no subscription. Either partner may buy it once both have confirmed their answers. One successful payment unlocks the shared report for both partners, and the other partner is not asked to pay again. Payment is taken securely by our payment provider, which acts as the reseller of record and handles payment, tax and fraud checks. We never see or store your full card details: card entry happens inside the payment provider's own secure form.

6. Delivery of digital content

The full report is digital content, supplied on screen immediately after payment is confirmed, for both partners on the devices they each used.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Under UK consumer law you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase. Before payment we ask you to agree that the report is supplied immediately and to acknowledge that you will lose this right to cancel once it is unlocked. If you do not give that acknowledgement, the purchase cannot proceed.

This does not affect your statutory rights. If the report is not supplied, fails to unlock, or is faulty or not as described, contact us at info@betweenusxo.com and you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as the law provides.

8. Intellectual property

The questions, scoring methodology, report text, design and brand are owned by the operator. You may use your results for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Prohibited misuse

You must not attempt to access assessments that are not yours, interfere with the service, scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or use it for any unlawful or abusive purpose, including coercion of a partner.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update or withdraw features with reasonable notice where possible.

11. Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, including your statutory consumer rights.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
